Dad’s turn for fun at Wimberley Market Day

Wimberley Market Day this month will be geared towards dads of all ages.

Lions Field will be full of great gifts for him on Saturday, June 3, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. WMD is as popular with men as women because of the festive marketplace’s vast array of one-of-akind and hand-crafted items, the variety of live music each month and the multiple concession options — including the popular barbeque stand.

Starting at 11 a.m. until about 1 p.m., Little Beverley and the Shades will headline the Pavilion stage. Meg Groves will play at the Shady Grove stage, and Cheyenne Saenz will play at the Hilltop stage.

Wimberley Market Day is held on the first Saturday of each month, rain or shine.

Lions Field is located off FM 2325, about a mile from the Wimberley Square. The $5 donation accepted at the Lions Club’s parking lots helps to fund the various grants and scholarships distributed by the Wimberley Lions Club.
