Civic Club scholarship applications

The Wimberley Community Civic Club will again offer financial aid to college-bound Wimberley Valley and KAPS students. Eligible students must attend school within the Wimberley ISD limits and includes home-schooled students. Applications will be considered for a traditional university or for a qualified non-traditional institution of higher learning, such as a trade school, culinary, or art institute.

Applications may be downloaded from the Wimberley Community Civic Club website, www.wimberleyccc.org, the Wimberley High School scholarship link, and the KAPS school website after February 8, 2021.

Completed applications are due Monday, March 22. WHS and KAPS students must return their applications to their school’s guidance counselors. Homeschooled applicants are required to deposit applications into a box located outside of the KAPS entry doors. Applications that are late or incomplete will be disqualified.

Questions can be directed to WHS or KAPS school counselors. WCCC members are not allowed to discuss scholarships with ap plicants or parents.

If a student is awarded a scholarship, they must show WCCC proof of enrollment in their intended university or trade school by August 13, such as a copy of a school ID or class schedule. If an applicant fails to comply with this requirement, their scholarship monies will be forfeited.
