City Wide Clean Up keeps Wimberley beautiful

Keep Wimberley Beautiful hosted the City Wide Clean Up with help from the Lions Club and the city of Wimberley.
Around 35 volunteers covered an estimated seven miles of roadway including Jacobs Well Road, RM 2325, RM 3237, Woodcreek Drive, Green Acres, River Road and sections of Ranch Road 12.
Hays County picked up 50 large bags of trash from RM 3237 alone and Keep Wimberley Beautiful estimates that 200 bags of trash were collected in addition to recycling.
The Lions Club helped with dumpsters for large item disposal at Lions Field that was placed in conjunction with the city of Wimberley and Texas Disposal Systems.
Keep Wimberley Beautiful hopes to hold another roadside clean up and free large item disposal in the spring and fall of next year
