Churches and Community Center kick-off Christmas

The weather has behaved itself the last few weeks, gorgeous weekends and dark, rainy, cold, dreary weekdays. Although it started off a bit brisk and cold, the sun was shining and a warm up came. The perfect weekend to sell Christmas wreaths, stockings and other Christmas decorations along with gifts that would be perfect for that person who was on your “not naughty but nice” list.

At the Wimberley Presbyterian Church, the Christmas Market offered many fine gifts and decorations for sale. The Wimberley Valley Quilt Guild sold a variety of high quality, unique quilts with profits going towards the Hays Caldwell Women’s Center.

At the Chapel of the Hills’ Christmas Bazaar, the festively dressed volunteers helped customers with wreaths, Santa and elves’ hats, and Christmas decorations galore.

Last but not least by any means of a festive Christmas atmosphere, the Community Center’s Wimberley Wonderland offered many Christmas decorations but also unique products, both local and international, just waiting to be wrapped and put under the tree. If you are an early bird when it comes to Christmas, Wimberley was the prefect spot to be in last weekend.
