The bright side of 2020

We tried to come up with something nice to say about 2020. It wasn’t always easy. This year was a difficult one for many people on many different levels.

But the stories in the Wimberley View this year aren’t just stories of the difficult days. They are stories of a resilient community that has been fighting through adversity, taking care of one another and trying to find the balance between living safely and actually living.

In the end, we felt like it might be more useful to try and cheer everyone up. Instead of putting the biggest news stories of the year on the front page this week, which in 2020 were a bit rough, we decided to pick a few of our favorites to remind us that this year wasn’t all bad. Then we’ll let the Year In Review speak for itself. Just remember, there were plenty of things to celebrate or be proud of this year too.
