Braving the cold for a Hot Rod Show

A cold and rainy Saturday wasn’t enough to deter visitors and participants from enjoying the 4th annual Hot Rod Showdown at the Pioneer Town in 7A Ranch in Wimberley.

The event drew hundreds of car enthusiasts from around the area as people brought out their hot rods and classic cars to show off for the public.

In conjunction with the Hot Rod Showdown, the 12 Kings Car Club hosted the HHS Texas Hill Country Run as they drove to explore the beauty of the Hill Country as part of the festivities.

Attendants were also able to enjoy the tenants of Pioneer Town as the

Opera House, Ice Cream Parlor, Arcade and the Cowboy Museum were open to the public for young and old patrons to enjoy.

Inside of the Opera House, visitors were treated to live music and a place to warm up as bands played their music for the people inside.

Food Trucks were also in attendance as guests were treated to warm food from So Texas BBQ and Texami fed the patrons as well.
