Boy Scouts retire flags on Flag Day

On Flag Day, June 14, members of Wimberley Boy Scout Troop 127 held a flag retirement ceremony at Veterans Memorial Plaza. Several hundred worn, faded and tattered flags that had been turned in by Wimberley area residents and organizations were properly retired. Members of VFW Post 6441 assisted. Scouts pictured from left are Diego Elizondo, Brevin Nuckols, Tristan Jones and Charlie Price.
