Blue Hole Regional Park to hold Star Party

The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Wimberley! Bring your family and friends out to our free Blue Hole Star Party event on Novembe 10 to enjoy an evening of stargazing in the Hill Country. The Texas State Astronomy Club and the Wimberley Valley Dark Skies Association will be sharing their telescopes and knowledge with us for the evening. Enjoy a star themed art exhibit before sunset. Stay into the evening for our tabletop discussion and story time. Complete your evening looking through telescopes and learning about the stars with local astronomy enthusiasts. Blankets, chairs, picnics, flashlights, and your own telescopes are all encouraged. The art exhibit will be held on basketball court, while all star viewing will take place on the soccer fields. Get ready to experience our park and the stars in a whole new way! Alcohol and smoking are prohibited at Blue Hole Regional Park.

Blue Hole Regional Park is just east of the Wimberley Square at 100 Blue Hole Lane, off Old Kyle Road near its junction with RM 3237 in Wimberley, TX.

For more information about the program, please contact the Park Office at (512) 660-9111 or visit the City of Wimberley website at www.cityofwimberley.com
