Blue Hole hosting multiple events

Blue Hole Regional Park is hosting multiple events this month including a Family Campout and a Star Party.

FAMILY CAMPOUT

The next family campout program will be on March 21st - 22nd starting at 5 pm. The campout will be $50 per family in the famous Blue Hole Swim Lawn. The campsites are 10 X 10 and fit up to 5 people. Come pitch your tent in the famous Blue Hole Swim Area and enjoy adventures such as a night hike, star gazing, a fire at the fire-pit, and more. Registration for this event is online through the Blue Hole Regional Park Facebook page or the City of Wimberley website. Space is limited. Party must include at least one child, age 13 or younger. Children must be supervised at all times.

STAR PARTY

The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Wimberley. Bring your family and friends out to the bi-annual Blue Hole Star Party event to enjoy an evening of stargazing in the Hill Country on March 28 at 7:30 p.m. The Texas State Astronomy Club and the Wimberley Dark Sky Association will be sharing their telescopes and knowledge with us for the night. Admission is free. It is encouraged to bring something to sit on, a picnic, and flashlights and then meet on the soccer fields near the basketball courts. Get ready to experience our park and the stars in a whole new way. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited at Blue Hole Regional Park.

Blue Hole Regional Park is just east of the Wimberley Square at 100 Blue Hole Lane, off Old Kyle Road near its junction with RM 3237 in Wimberley, TX.
