‘Cat clings to Climbing Way crossing

A truck towing Bobcat machinery slipped off the Climbing Way Bridge in the Paradise Valley subdivision on Monday morning. According to city offi cials, the accident occurred just after 6 a.m. The downhill slope leading onto the bridge was wet. When the driver pressed the brakes, the heavy machinery caused the trailer to jackknife before it slipped off the edge of the bridge. It took two large tow trucks to move the equipment a little before 11 a.m., after which the truck continued to pull the machinery to its job site. There was no signifi cant damage to the bridge.
