A World-Premiere Melodrama at Pioneer Town

D. Heath Thompson’s brand new melodrama, “Fast Freddie & that Darn Time Travelin’ Thingamabob,” that will be performed in collaboration with the EmilyAnn Theatre and 7A Ranch & Pioneer Town in the Old Opera House. This family friendly comedy will ask you to throw popcorn at the actors, cheer on the hero and boo at the villain, all in an authentic Old West setting. Fast Freddie runs October 5-20, Saturdays and Sundays, all shows at 2 p.m.

You may be familiar with Mr. Thompson’s work if you saw the EmilyAnn mainstage hit, The Legends of Robin Hood, several years ago, or if you’ve seen any of the children’s theatre series productions the EmilyAnn puts on for young children and families. While Fast Freddie is running at Pioneer Town, the next production for audiences, ages 2-99, will be Rumpelstiltskin, also adapted and written by D. Heath Thompson. This version of Rumpelstiltskin is FRIENDLY and FUNNY, and is an interactive 35 minute play, perfect for young children and audiences of all ages. This show runs October 5-27, Saturday mornings at 10 am and Sundays at 2 pm.
