Wimberley Wine Walk back this week

The premiere event of many residents is the Wimberley Civic Club’s Wine Walk. For the fourth year, vintners, wineries and other vendors display their wares and the wine tastings begin. Wristbands are needed, purchase online or if not sold out, at the door. The event takes place 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.

Something new this year is the location, which is Blue Hole. All the exhibitors will be located away from crossing Ranch Road 12 and city traffic, as in years past, and safely visit the booths at the park.

“We’re hoping for a sellout this year, and looking forward to the new experience at Blue Hole with nineteen wineries and nine food vendors will be there. Also the Jesse Stratton Band will be playing on the swim lawn. A great time to buy your favorite wine and enjoy it at the concert,” Ann Guilford, Wimberley Community Civic Club’s Wine Walk, said.

“My favorite part is when people show up in costumes,” Guilford said. This is an event that should not be missed. This Thursday 5-8 p.m., the annual Civic Club’s Wine Walk looks to be more fun than last year if that is possible.
