Trivia Contest helps Civic Club help Wimberley

A grand night for a good food, friends and stimulating questions about all walks of life was the Wimberley Community Civic Club’s Trivia Night. Doing his best imitation of Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek, Master of Ceremonies Ian Green, looked the part complete with a sparkly bow tie.

The participants looked every bit the part and were dressed up for a game show. This included groups dressed up as wizards, Irish, Radio Flyers and more. Divided into different categories, with an intermission, the teams were all neck and neck with questions missed and those answered correctly.

Finally the at the end of the tournament, the winners were “Diversified Octet.” But all in all, the contest was a fun time to relax, enjoy a great meal, hang out with friends, kick the brain into gear and compete knowing that it was all a part of giving back to the community.
