Santa arrives for breakfast with Wimberley Civic Club

Santa arrived last Saturday on a cold north wind, landing him and a team of elves at the former Scudder elementary school in Wimberley for the Breakfast with Santa event. Nearly 200 children and parents warmed up with a hot pancake and sausage breakfast, followed by crafts, books to take home and, of course, counsel with Santa. Warming hearts and enriching the holiday atmosphere was the Hill Country Band, who played traditional Christmas music during Santa’s visit. Sponsored by the Wimberley Community Civic Club, it was organized by Robin Estepp who had been working with the North Pole for weeks to coordinate Santa’s visit. A special thanks goes to Rand Schwarz.
