The Wimberley VFW Independence Day Rodeo is back. The VFW Post 6441 members shown here are this year’s rodeo planning committee, and they are working to make this year’s rodeo the best ever and to make up for last year’s rodeo cancelation due to the coronavirus pandemic, Wimberley’s iconic rodeo is back for its 75th year. The rodeo will run evenings July 2 through 4 with all the favorite rodeo events along with mutton busting and calf scrambles. A special, collectable belt buckle commemorating the 75th rodeo will be on sale at the rodeo. For information, visit www.texasvfw.net.
