Dee Rambeau can help with communication needs.

Rambeau helps with messages

There are many unique individuals in the valley. Some rockers, artists, TV actors, people that are leaders in their chosen professions. The sheer amount of successful people in Wimberley defies the odds for such a small population.

Technology has progressed to the point that CEOs and others do not have to travel to Houston or New York in order to address large numbers of clients, stockholders or other audiences. It all can be done right here in Wimberley, as the live cut-ins on “Good Morning America” of Wimberley resident and political commentator Matt Dowd show.

Having the know-how of getting things done is what Dee Rambeau is all about. He too is a Wimberleyite, and his resume is impressive. Rambeau grew up in St. Louis but arrived in Texas to attend SMU on a track scholarship.

He acquired his degree in business and soon found himself in the finance and brokerage business in New York. He was there for eight years. And then, through a client, he found himself in Phoenix, Arizona producing sports for television, first mountain bikes, then skiing, beach volleyball and was an live announcer for volleyball at the Atlanta Olympics of 1996.

He also formed his own company and Fox Sports was a client for documentaries. He and his production company wrote radio copy ads and voice overs for television and commercial accounts.

He moved to Denver in 1999 and then got off the road for a while and remodeled houses. He hit the big time when he and his company developed software for managing media content.

The software was a hit, being proclaimed “PR Product of the Year” by PR Newswire, a distributor of corporate news in the U.S. In 2009 Newswire bought the company and made Rambeau a V.P. for six years. He resigned and moved from Denver to Wimberley in 2016.

“I visited Wimberley before the floods and fell in love with the town. I am tired of snow and would now be close to my brother and his family,” he said. “Rambeau Media was started in Denver and I brought it with me.”

“A lot of people in organizations in the community could use my resources, from simple writing, websites, speaker proposals, speeches, press release articles, simple PR, what to do, when to do it.” He continued.

“A lot of companies here could use our help. We take what they have, and obtain a strategy to promote themselves. They may have the best website but if no one sees it who cares?” From a sole proprietor to big business, you can still maintain relationships with a national scope or Austin area clients… Strategies to help drive business to the companies’ websites, such as using social media, traditional news sources and press distribution, producing content for websites including video and show the world where your business is.”

Living in a rural area is no longer a hindrance to business.

“You can live here. Little companies sell goods and services everyday from Wimberley… former CEOs, consultants, thought leaders and influencers would all benefit from this.”
