June’s Market Days is all about dad

The fourth Wimberley Market Days of 2019 is on Saturday, June 1. Wimberley Lions Club’s Marketing Director, Amy Cox, said, “The theme is the Lazy, Hazy Crazy Days of Summer. We will be giving away five-hundred hand-held fans to help folks keep cool. Red-tag vendor specials honor Father’s Day, featuring all things ‘Dad’ such as sports collectibles, games, electronics, tools, hats, shaving kits, bar & barbeque items, and all sorts of outdoorsy stuff.”

The Café-a-la-Cart will travel around the market place with tasty drinks and scrumptious snacks for sale. For convenience, strolling parents can rent a baby-stroller at Booth 6, near Gate 1. The courtesy cart can be arranged at the information tables for visitors with mobility needs. And, rent a push-cart for $5.00 a day. As always, the team of happy haulers will transport shoppers and their purchases to their cars.

Every Market Days presents live music beginning around 11:00 a.m. on each of 3 stages. Jesse Stratton headlines at the Pavilion stage. Marcy Grace plays the Shady Grove stage. And, Young & Rusty play the Hill Top stage.

Wimberley Lions Club Market Days happens on the first Saturday of each month, March through December, rain or shine. June’s shopping hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Find this festive marketplace at Lions Field, off FM 2325, about a mile from the Wimberley Square. There is ample parking in the 3 Lions Club lots with those donations serving the Wimberley community through grants and scholarships. Look for the feathery, red, white and blue banners at the two Lions Club lots across from Lions Field and the third lot on the left, (past the car wash,) heading toward the high school.
