Hill Country Community Band Spring Concert

The Hill Contry Community Band will perform a free, outdoor concert on Sunday, May 23, at 4:00 P.M. and the theme is “Spring into Music!” The concert venue will be at the Blanco River Academy pavilion, behind the academy’s main building, located at 501 Old Kyle Road in Wimberley.

Some of the selections include “West Side Story” medley by Leonard Bernstein, “Overture to ‘Candide’” by Leonard Bernstein, “A Tribute to Dave Brubeck” including “Take Five” and “Blue Rondo a la Turk” arranged by Patrick Roszell, “The Thunderer March” by John Philip Sousa, and “Amparito Roca”, a Spanish March by Jaime Texidor.

Spring into action by grabbing your chair or blanket (and mask) and enjoy an hour of great music, performed by our talented and dedicated local band.
