A day for pet parades
Saturday was a day for putting your pet on parade. Both parades benefited WAG or Wimberley Adoption Group and Rescue. At 10 a.m. early in the morning for most of us sleep in on Saturday, the Wimberley Merchants Association had their parade downtown at the Square. The patter of four legs could be seen from Ozona Bank to Dovetails and in between. Then at 2 p.m. Deer Creek and the Wimberley Veterinarian Clinic held their 22nd Annual Pet Parade for both the Deer Creek and local residents. Seeing the smiles on the residents and the interaction with the animals was a joy in itself. The following is a list of the winners:
