Community invited to St. Stephen’s TAIZE service

TAIZE: Forgiveness Service, March 4, St. Stephen’s. Community Invited.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Wimberley is now offering a regular monthly dose of serenity to the community. All are invited the first Wednesday of each month to the TAIZE candlelight service held in the Chapel at 5:30 p.m. This month’s theme is: forgiveness.

“TAIZE is indeed a special service, and I feel we are blessed to have it again at St. Stephen’s,” shares ministry leader, Sharon East.

The serene TAIZE creation was designed, created, and implemented by new arrival and Wimberley resident Susan Webb, who brought many of its elements from a church in Memphis, Tennessee. Participants can expect this beautiful candlelight service to last approximately 45 minutes; filled with prayers, music, readings, and periods of silent meditation.

Everyone is also invited to the free Lenten Soup Supper in McArthur Hall immediately following the March 4, 5:30 p.m., TAIZE: Forgiveness service in the Chapel.
