Armed Forces Day at the VFW Hall

Twice a year the VFW Post #6441 honors those who have served their country with a BBQ lunch with lots of camaraderie. Boy Scout Troop 127 was on hand to honor the vets and their families but also the BBQ team of “No Sauce Allowed” were watching the grills and cooking away.
It all took place Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the VFW Hall. Martha Knies was there to talk about her husband’s exploits and the WWII treasures she brought with her to the hall.
This was a day to remember each branch of the service and those who served.
