A wildfire broke out on the edge of the Wimberley Valley last week burning an estimated 44 acres over six days before essentially being contained early this week. Wimberley ISD is pleased to announce that Ryan Wilkes has been named the next principal of Wimberley High School. The WISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Superintendent Greg Bonewald’s recommendation at its special-called meeting on August 3.
