The Wimberley High School Texan (11-8-1 overall, 5-5-1 district) and Lady Texan (17-32 overall, 8-3-1 district) soccer teams advanced through district into the UIL playoffs after one of the toughest seasons for both teams in quite a while. Texan Stadium hosted the Wimberley Texan Relays with nine schools competing at both junior varsity and varsity levels, including a couple of district foes for the Texans as both Canyon Lake and Fredericksburg High Schools brought their teams to town.
