Market Days on busy July fourth weekend
One of the many special events happening in Wimberley this coming Fourth of July weekend is Wimberley Market Day on Saturday the 2nd. WMD will be in full-swing with hundreds of vendors selling their one-of-a-kind treasures and crafts. Concession stands will be stocked with ice-cold drinks and tasty treats including the popular bar-B-que at Concession #9. Also, the Wimberley Lions Club haulers will be available to help shoppers transport large purchases to their vehicles. One-hundred percent of the do nations collected by the drivers go back into the local community through grants and scholarships. 06/30/2022 12:00 AM

Wimberley Players present I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (2018) with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts, opens on The Wimberley Players stage July 15 and runs through August 7. This hilarious celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind ‘the relationship.’ It explores dating and waiting, love and marriage, as well as the agonies of in-laws, newborns, and trips in the family car. The original version of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is the second longest-running off-Broadway musical with over 5,000 performances. How about those ears? You can’t sneak up on this guy. Luka is just a youngster and he’s busy learning new things. He’s a smart guy who has learned sit in no time. He doesn’t mind practicing his leash skills as long as he can get together with his pals for a run or a dip in the pool afterward. He’s an energetic, squirmy guy who is happy to see everyone. Luka is a hound mix, 11 months old and weighs 36 pounds.
