The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce is submitting this letter to respond to numerous inquiries as to what will become of the current Wimberley Visitor Center after the announcement the City of Wimberley purchased property on Old Kyle Road and proposes to open an additional Visitor Center. The current Wimberley Visitor Center was conveyed to the Wimberley Convention and Visitors Bureau Foundation, a Texas non-profit corporation in September of 2012. That conveyance is subject to certain restrictions and conditions, including that the property must be used as a visitor’s center, and it cannot be sold, transferred or leased. 04/06/2023 12:00 AM

Tennis advances six to regional tourney
Tennis advances six to regional tourney
Texan tennis has enjoyed success. They are the reigning state champions in team tennis from this past fall with the Texan’s district producing either the state champion or runner up since as far back as 2015. Last year’s spring state championship in boys doubles was a battle between two Wimberley teams for the second year in a row and the mixed doubles team made it to the final four at the state tournament.
