The Wimberley Youth Soccer Club had two teams representing WYSC: the Wimberley Youth Sports Association and the Capitol Area Youth Soccer Association in the 2022 South Texas Youth Soccer Association’s Fall Playoffs in Schertz. Claire Valentine takes her skills as goalkeeper to the piney woods of East Texas, playing soccer for the Angeline County Lady Roadrunners. Fellow soccer teammate Emily Thames joins former Lady Texans Casey Crawford and Holly Harwood in San Angelo to make her mark on the pitch for the Angelo State Rambelles. Friday Night Lights at Texan Stadium were delayed due to lights in the skies in the area Friday evening.
