Going on the road to Fredericksburg on Tuesday night, the Texans battled with the undefeated battling Billies to start the second round of district play.

Fredericksburg suffocated the Texan offense in the first quarter allowing just five points. On the other side of the ball, the Billies jumped Wimberley from the get go and held a 19-5 at the end of the first quarter.

The Billies defensive attack didn’t stop there as Fredericksburg continued to dominated the Texans offensively. But the Wimberley Texans couldn’t dwell on the loss for too long as an important road trip to Bandera was in store with a trip to the playoffs on the line.

The defensive play of the Texans didn’t let up in the fourth quarter as Wimberley allowed just six points during the period.
