Texan tennis has strong showing

The Texan tennis team had a great showing this past Friday and Saturday at a tournament in Fredericksburg. Now that basketball season has ended, Landon Kirchner and Tristan Anderson have begun getting back into the swing of tennis. In boys’ doubles, the pair took second place by beating out stiff competition.

Sydney Wright and Madi Elliot walked away with big smiles after placing second in girls doubles. To make the finals, they earlier had beaten a solid Fredericksburg team. After losing their first match to the eventual champs, Alex Ursha and Evan Mayhew fought back and won the consolation bracket.
