Swim and Dive sends 18 to Regionals

The Wimberley High School Swim and Dive team will send 18 athletes to the UIL Regional Tournament after a successful district meet.
Thom Naccarato qualified in two events taking first place in the 100-yard backstroke and second place in the 100-yard free style.
Jesse Walker also qualified in the 100-yard free style.
In diving, Evan Mayhew took first place and Harrison Mayhew qualified in fifth place. Evan Mayhew was named the District 20-5A Athlete of the Meet after winning the district dive championship for this fourth year in a row.
Regionals will take place on Friday in College Station at the Texas A&M Swim and Dive Center.
