Community came together to help Alexis Pointe
On behalf of our residents, their families, our committed staff and myself, I would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the wonderful community of Wimberley that aided Alexis Pointe Senior Living during our recent snowpocalypse. As a recent transplant to Wimberley, I was blown away by all the support that we received and would like to thank these caring people. This includes Ken Strange, Director of Emergency Services, who personally transported me and several team members to our facility from homes and stalled cars… and then came and fixed my generator, while consistently checking in on us all week; his EMS staff that brought us extra oxygen; Carroll Czichos, District Chief for Wimberley Fire Rescue who brought us 5 gallons of water from his office supply; Mayor Gina Fulkerson who just called to see if we needed anything; the First Baptist Church who found a space heater for an independent Live resident whose heater quit working and to Wimberley Water, who came back to advise us on the water leak.
