Wimberley ISD statement on possible fire station

“The Wimberley ISD Board of Trustees continues to discuss a possible fire station building at the site of the new primary campus. Chief Czichos and Wimberley Fire are critical to the safety of our community, and working in partnership with them is very important to Wimberley ISD. We still look forward to further discussions and detailed building plans from the fire chief to work together to include a fire station in the future plans for Winters Mill Parkway. Importantly, the voters entrusted Wimberley ISD with bonds to build an efficient, modern and long-standing primary campus that will serve the education goals and dreams of Wimberley Valley families for years to come. We always look forward to working in partnership with our local leaders to strengthen our bonds and our community, and at the same time, fulfilling the District’s responsibility to voters who supported the new primary school. Even as we work diligently to complete the primary campus on time and on budget, we continue to work with Chief Czichos to support his goal of building a fire station.”
