Supporting Christine Byrne for Place 3

As I’m sure you have discovered, it’s easy to say nice things about nice people you genuinely like, and that is my happy task in this letter. I had the good fortune to work for several years with Christine Byrne on the City of Wimberley Parks Board, and I can honestly say I never worked with anyone as well prepared for a position of public service. Her infectious good humor and dedication to the details of the tasks at hand make her a perfect addition to our city council.

Christine always came to our meetings with thoughtful questions and pertinent points for us to consider in our deliberations. She worked well with every single one of the other members of the board and showed a real gift for finding innovative ways to fulfill our mission.

I have had the opportunity to work with Christine on other civic undertakings and she has for many years shown a proven intelligence, creativity and passion for jobs that benefit her beloved community. She has given generously of her time with local scout troops, Wimberley Outdoor Educators, Lions’ Market Days, the Emily Ann Theatre and Gardens, and other civic groups.

She’s a great example of a person who knows and cherishes the Wimberley valley and has proven she’ll be a great city councilperson in place three.
