Supporting Alvord, Brizendine, Hambrick for Woodcreek

I am writing a letter of support for Vicki Alvord, Judy Brizendine and Bob Hambrick...candidates for Woodcreek City Council.

Vicki Alvord was appointed to the Woodcreek City Council in February

2020. She is a self-proclaimed listener, not a talker...listening to both sides before making the decision she thinks is best for the community as a whole. Vicki has worked throughout her life...as an accountant, real estate appraiser, film producer and owner of a software development company bringing a variety of experience to our city government. Vicki inspired and managed the Woodcreek-Camp Young Judaea First Responders Program and has served on the Hays County Citizens Election Advisory Commission.

Judy Brizendine has lived in Woodcreek since 2012 and has served the community continuously. Her service includes three separate Roads & Streets Committees, Planning and Zoning Commission and two terms as Woodcreek City Council Member. Judy brings experience; she is a creative thinker, a problem solver, and has a passion for accuracy and facts. With all this...Judy has time for other passions...a love of golf and devotion to family... especially grandchildren! Judy will work hard and with dedication for the benefit of all citizens to preserve the character of our city.

Bob Hambrick has become a valuable member of our community. He has taken an active and passionate part in advocating that people register and vote. He has also served our city as an alternate for the Planning and Zoning Commission and as a member of the Ordinance Review Committee. Bob recognizes the need to improve all the roads in the city...as do we all...he is ready to explore funding sources without raising taxes. Bob believes civility and professionalism are important and required in dealing with city business...whether with citizens or within government.
