In Support of Brent Pulley

I am Paula Pulley, a 5th generation Texan. My ancestor - Gen. Edward Burleson - fought at the Battle of San Jacinto. So, although I am going to speak for my husband – Brent - I am also an independent person, and I know how to stand up on my own two feet and to speak for what I think is right. Here is why I speak today:

I was raised in San Antonio. Brent was raised in Austin. We met in Dallas and then lived as a young married couple in an old beautiful area called Oak Lawn, with ancient trees and beautiful old homes. Then one day, they told us “new development” was coming. Then we watched as our neighborhood was bulldozed and overrun by this “new development” – all while our property taxes skyrocketed. It broke our hearts. So we left and came back to the Hill Country – to Woodcreek, hoping this would not happen again – not here.

But here we are again. There is “new development” coming. Brent and I have seen this before. This Valley will change so fast - if we do not stand and work together to protect her.

We don’t want to lose another beautiful place and have our hearts broken again.

Brent is a good man (well, usually). He has been a former Woodcreek Council Member and has fought battles before against over-development. He has volunteered over the years for:

Habitat for Humanity;

Wimberley Chamber & Visitor Center;

Wimberley Rotary Club;

Wimberley Dark Skies Initiative; and

Save Old Baldy Foundation.

He knows how to fight and win - but he also knows how to work with others.

I ask that you support him.

Paula Gaddis Pulley

I would like to offer my support for Brent Pulley for Woodcreek City Council. Brent has been an excellent neighbor and a consistent supporter for the community by working with local volunteer organizations and staying abreast of changing local policies and politics. He regularly advocates that any development in Woodcreek be environmentally conscious and stands for better traffic management, as so many of us are concerned with the high rate of speeding that occurs through our neighborhood. I feel strongly that we need someone to bring better insight into these concerns facing our community and Brent is a person who has proven he can make a difference.

Sincerely,

Lynn Jones.

My name is Lori Fisher and I am supporting Brent Pulley for Woodcreek City Council. Brent and I are neighbors and friends. We walk our dogs together in the neighborhood. I am VERY concerned about the traffic through Woodcreek which threatens our safety and our property values. I am voting for Brent because I think he is committed to do FINALLY doing something about this. I support his message of:

PROTECT OUR HILL COUNTRY

PROTECT OUR WATER

SLOW DOWN TRAFFIC

Vote BRENT

Woodcreek is very lucky to have Brent Pulley running for City Council. As a previous Councilman, he brings years of experience to the Council. Brent will be working for the residents who need to be heard and helped. He wants to keep our taxes down and work to slow down traffic to the posted speed. He also, does not want to add more ordinances that cost the residents money and time.
