Mayor’s Corner Sewer progress

Good Morning Wimberley,

For those of you who are interested in the details concerning the sewer project’s progress please review the last 4 documents on my Mayor’s Corner of the cityofwimberley.com website.

The one titled Project Cost Summary is simple to read and should give you a clear understanding with a little background as to why we are where we are today. I’ve highlighted both the good and bad aspects, the Devil is in the details. My conclusion is that due to the significant impact on the City’s finances and upcoming budget, these updated Project Cost estimates need to be closely scrutinized, updated and monitored. It should be everyone’s priority to ensure the Council keeps their eye on the target and to get this system up and running asap. Best case scenario after discussion with our Contractor is that it will likely be another six months before “shit flows” and is no longer hitting the fan.
