Bonnie Dee

Bonnie was known as the Flower Girl of Wimberley. She was a Master Gardener and worked as a local landscape designer. Her love for flowers is evident by the bluebonnet and wildflower seeds she has sown over the years throughout downtown Wimberley.

Jerral (Jerry) Gordon Waldron, 57, was born in Houston, Texas on May 8, 1964 and passed from this world on October 30, 2021 in Palacios, Texas. He was the youngest of 4 siblings and spent his childhood in Sugar Land. He worked in the financial services industry after attending Southwest Texas State University.

Dorvin K. “Deke” Baker

Baker, Dorvin K. “Deke” age 83 of Elk River, MN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Nov. 6, 2021. Deke graduated from DeKalb High School in Illinois in 1956. The United States Air Force was his calling from 1958 – 1962. He was stationed in Baudette, MN as a member of the 692nd Radar Squadron. It was there where he met and married his wife LaRaine “Tootie” Tischart in 1962. Deke and Tootie lived in Coon Rapids, MN for 32 years. Deke retired as the Director of IT from Seagate Technologies in 2001 after a 39-year career. In Retirement, they lived in Baudette, MN and spent their winters in Wimberley, TX. In 2013, they moved to Elk River, MN, where he most recently resided. Deke was an avid golfer and traveled extensively. Preceded in death by his mother, Marie and stepfather, Lee Large. Survived by his wife of 59 years, LaRaine “Tootie”; Jayne (Donny) Serfoss, Angela (Tony) Jarvis; grandchildren, Amber (Brian) Serfoss, Austin (Samantha) Habas, Chelsea (Aaron) Olafson, Conner (Aimee) Gagne, Sophia, Evan; great-grandchildren, Lilee, Brady, Willow; brother, Ron (Carol) Large & their children, Nicole & Josh; along with many other loving relatives and friends. A public visitation will be held on Thursday (11/18/2021) from 3-5 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St NW, Andover, MN with a Time of Remembrance Ser

Joyce Ann Lamb

Joyce Ann Lamb, age 74, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Wimberley, Texas. Joyce was born on May 25, 1947 in Porter, Texas to James Lamb and Birdie Clyde Lamb. Growing up in Tyler, Texas, she graduated from John Tyler High School and lived in several cities in Texas before moving to San Antonio in 1996 to live with the Ward family. Having visited Wimberley many times, Joyce moved there in 2008. Most recently she has lived at Deer Creek of Wimberley.

Kathy Jane Pyeatt

On Saturday, October 23, 2021, Kathy Jane Pyeatt of Wimberley, Texas passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Kathy was born on June 29, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas to Leonard Aubrey Pyeatt and Hazel Bell Mobley Pyeatt. She grew up riding horses, watching westerns, and loved being outside all day long. She attended Paschal High School and graduated in 1967. She went to Tarrant County Junior College for a semester, and in 1969, Kathy married her first husband, Bobby McCright. They had one daughter together, Shea Kathleen, and though they later divorced, they remained committed to raising her jointly. As a single mom, Kathy worked many different and interesting jobs, mostly in real estate and title work, but she even did a stint as a Pinkerton PI.
