    DAREK TYLER BIGGS

Darek Tyler Biggs

Our precious son, Darek Tyler Biggs, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was born to Darin and Jennifer Biggs on October 29, 2003 in San Marcos, Texas joining his sister Kristen and brother Dayton.

He grew up in Wimberley, Texas. He was a Junior at Wimberley High School and had love of Engineering and History which he wanted to pursue.

One of his greatest joys was his shooting competitions which he excelled greatly in. He had taken first place for the last 5 years in the State of Texas. He had just finished third nationally on a recent trip to Virginia. He loved and enjoyed all his friends he made while being a part of the ABRA family. He was looking forward to moving up to the adult class where he would have given them a strong competition.

He loved the outdoors. He loved going with the family to Junction on their property. He loved bow hunting, deer hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed his annual trips to Idaho to spend quality time with all his family.

Another passion of his was his online gaming. This is where he connected with all of his friends, and where he made many new friends.

Another love of his was his 2 dogs Brandy and Nala.

He leaves behind his parents, Darin and Jennifer Biggs of Wimberley. His grandparents Butch and Sharon Biggs of Wimberley, Mary and Jack Rogers of Wimberley, Joyce Genzer of Lewiston Idaho, and his great-grandma Audrey Genzer (Laddie) of Lewiston, Idaho. His sister Kristen (Thomas) of San Marcos and brother Dayton of San Antonio. A nephew Daxson and niece Danica of San Antonio. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death recently by his two grandpas, John Genzer and Peter Pape, and numerous other great grandparents.

Even though Darek was only on this earth with us a short time. He left a huge impact on all our lives. We love you D-Ty and will miss your infectious smile every minute of every day.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 23 at 1:00 pm and the service will follow at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Wimberley. For more information and to sign the online guest registry, visit www.thomasonfuneralhome.com. (512) 847-2226
