Chelsea Nicole Tijerina

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, Chelsea Nicole Tijerina was suddenly and tragically taken from her village.

Chelsea was born on May 19, 1987, in Garland, Texas to Kimberly Wells and Derek Tijerina. She graduated from Denton High School in 2004, the University of North Texas in 2007, and Baylor Law School in 2011. She was a successful attorney, CrossFit enthusiast, loving mother, daughter, niece, cousin, sister, and friend. Chelsea cherished her time with family and friends above all else. She loved to travel, cook, read, crochet, and ride that damn motorcycle. She earned her 90-day AA chip the day of the accident.

Chelsea is survived by her 2 children, Connor and Carolyn; her brothers, Jordan and Sean; her niece, Bailey; her nephew, Samuel; countless cousins, aunts, and uncles; her mothers; Kim and Nanette; her fathers; Derek, Steve, and Scott; and a beautiful village of friends that will forever be family. Chelsea was preceded in death by many that she loved, but none more precious than her grandmother, Carolyn.
