    ANITA LOUISE BECK BROWN

Anita Louise Beck Brown

August 7, 1942 – December 14, 2019

“Nita” was born August 7, 1942 in Pampa, Texas. She lived in Wimberley, Texas where she raised her 2 daughters Karen and Kelly. She loved working for many years at the Woodcreek Resort and as an office manager in the Real Estate business from which she eventually retired.

Nita loved sewing , quilting, crocheting, eating gummy bears, baking birthday cakes for nieces & nephews, and was always willing to help others who had a need. She loved animals of all kinds, she loved going the beach especially for margaritas and shrimp. Of course, some card playing was always a plus. Her home was in Wimberley with all of her fantastic friends she made through the years; her Heart always remained in Mineral Wells with her fun loving life-long friends.

She believed that tears could heal, memories could comfort, and that love lived on forever.

Her sister and daughters were with her at home when she entered Heavens gates on December 14, 2019. She is survived by her sister Janis Lemon and her husband Lee of Lubbock, brother Mike Beck of Mineral Wells; daughters Karen Brown of Dallas and Kelly Brown Romano and husband Rocky of Wimberley; bonus granddaughter Amanda Romano; nieces and nephews Jay (Kristen) Lemon, Laura (Brett) Sterling, Allison (Richard) Smith, Erin Lemon; bonus nieces Meagan and Morgan Romano; great nieces and nephews Gracie, Avery and Zachary Lemon, Jordan (Alix) Sterling, Anna (Randall) Winans, Ben, Josh and Emily Kate Smith; best friend Carolyn Hickey and her husband Charles of Mineral Wells; loving yorkie companion “Patches”.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Hazel Beck and grandson Shea Corbin Brown-Evans.

We are so very thankful for the wonderful care by Kindred Hospice and Shirley Miller.

Mom – you once held my hand, you will always hold my heart.

Nita will be laid to rest along with 4 generations of family members at Holders Chapel Cemetery in Cool Texas.
