Allan Howard Gifford

Allan Howard Gifford was born March 30, 1932 in Cleveland, OH and passed

away on May 6, 2019 in Wimberley, TX. Allan graduated from Ohio State University and later obtained a law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Kentucky.

He served in the US Coast Guard and was stationed in Hawaii for most of his active duty. Allan maintained his connection to the USCG as a reserves member, obtaining the rank of Captain. He established a private law firm in Hawaii specializing in estate planning and worked for many years with his identical twin brother, Bruce G. Gifford.

Allan was preceded in death by his wife Elaine K. Gifford, his brother Bruce and his parents Virginia Scott and Howard Alfred Gifford.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, August 3rd at the VFW Post #6441, 401Jacobs Well Rd, Wimberley, Texas.
