One of Central Texas’ most beautiful watering holes is open, but you can’t swim there any time soon. Hamilton Pool Preserve, just across the northern Hays County line in Travis County, has announced no swimming is allowed for the foreseeable future due to falling rocks. On Flag Day, June 14, members of Wimberley Boy Scout Troop 127 held a flag retirement ceremony at Veterans Memorial Plaza.
