Woodcreek Spooktacular

Woodcreek had it’s first annual Halloween SpookTacular on Sat. Oct. 30th. There was a parade and festival that was attended by over 200 residents. The festival included a costume contest for children, adults, and pets as well as games, prizes and candy.

Wimberley city leaders attend annual municipal conference

Wimberley Mayor Gina Fulkerson, Place One Council Member and Mayor Pro Tem Rebecca Minnick, Place Four Council Member Jim Chiles, and City Administrator Michael Boese attended the Texas Municipal League 109th Annual Conference and Exhibition Oct. 6-8 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. They were among 3,000 local government leaders from 300 cities at this signature event which is an opportunity to hear about new legislation affecting local governments and other timely topics, including infrastructure, water, natural disasters and crisis management.

The ghosts and goblins

The ghosts and goblins have retreated back to their homes and another Halloween is in the books. From firefighters to fairies, the streets of Woodcreek were filled with children trick or treating as was the Wimberley Square and Boo! Library has Halloween spirit

The Wimberley Village Library was spooky this Halloween season. The multi-purpose room at the library was turned into the Creep House, intended to give the littlest of kids a bit of the Halloween spirit with special effects, Halloween decorations and touch-andfeel bowl of guts – pumpkin guts that is.

Christmas shopping begins at November’s Market Day

Wimberley Market Day happens on Saturday, November 6, the second to the last opportunity of 2021 to explore Lions Field in search of that perfect purchase. This month’s market is the first of two exclusive shopping days to find any number of unique hand-crafted items and art collectibles for that one-ofa-kind Christmas gift. Beyond December’s Market Day, the next chance to indulge in the Lions Club’s famous brisket at Concession #7 will not happen again until March 2022.
