Winter’s Eve Festivities

This Saturday, the annual Winter’s Eve festivities commence in Wimberley. The daylong event begins with the “Wishes for Wimberley” Toy Drive Parade led by Santa Claus that begins at 10 a.m. at Ace Hardware, 14307 RR12. Elves will be on hand along the parade route to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need. The toys will go to The Christmas Store at the Barnabas Connection.

Participating businesses of the Wimberley Merchants Alliance around the square will open their doors to shoppers with hot chocolate, treats and other libations as well as offer fun activities geared towards kids. Live music will entertain shoppers and spread the joy of the season throughout the day with festivities ending at 10 p.m.

Winter’s Eve is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Wimberley Merchants Alliance. This year, the Merchants Alliance merged with the Chamber and now operates as a Chamber committee.
