Wimberley Community Civic Club’s Home Tour
Nearly 350 visitors toured the five homes featured on the 2019 Hill Country Home Tour last weekend. This annual event, in its 32nd year, is organized by the Wimberley Community Civic Club and all proceeds are donated back to the community in the form of grants for non-profits and scholarships to college-bound high school seniors.
This event started on Thursday evening with a Kick-off Party held at the home of Annievive and Tomas Palm on Red Hawk Road. Attendees enjoyed food served and donated by The Leaning Pear, live music by the Eric Hokkanen Band, open bar and a dessert table. The silent auction and wine pull were fun and lucrative for the club bringing in more than $5,500.
The Home Tour continued on Friday and Saturday with five unique homes, all with a special story to share with each visitor.
