WHS College and Career Fair

The Wimberley High School Academic Booster Club is hosting its Fourth Annual College and Career Fair on Wednesday September 26th from 1:30-3:30 in the Cafeteria of Wimberley High School. The Academic Booster Club (ABC) is the Parent Teacher Organization at WHS; it serves as the advocate of academic effort and achievement at the Wimberley High School.

Open to all students and parents in the Wimberley area. We have over 40 colleges, trade, technical school and military reps who have confirmed their participation in our college and career fair. A sample of confirmations: Texas A & M College Station, Southwestern, Baylor University, University of Texas, Tarleton State University, Texas State University, Texas State Technical College, Texas A & M Corpus Christi, Stephen F. Austin University, ACC Health Science Programs and ACC Auto Technology programs, St. Edwards University, Texas Christian University, Colorado Christian University, The University of Arkansas, University of North Texas, Angelo State University, The Art Institute of Austin, Escoffier Culinary School.

We encourage all parents and community members to join us for the afternoon and to join our organization as well WHS Academic Booster Club. The Academic Booster Club supports our teachers and staff at the High School in assisting with their classroom needs, supporting the UIL academic programs, providing appreciation luncheons and also offers scholarships to students interested in traditional colleges or trade schools. Over the past three years the Academic Booster Club has awarded over $28,000 to graduated seniors.
