Tickets for rodeo go on sale

Reduced price, advance tickets for the 77th annual Wimberley Independence Day Rodeo go on sale at the VFW starting this Sunday.

The in-person sales will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (June 25–27) from noon until 6 p.m. at the Merkin Annex on the VFW grounds at 401 Jacobs Well Road in Wimberley.

Prices during advance ticket sales are $12 for adults and $7 for children ages four to 12. Children three and under are free. On the nights of the rodeo, tickets at the gate will be $15 and $10 for adults and children respectively. Limited box seat tickets may be available for $50 on advance ticket days.

Advance ticket sales are in-person only.

The VFW Rodeo, the oldest and largest entertainment event in Wimberley, will be held at the Chester Franklin Rodeo Arena on the VFW grounds June 30 and July 1 and 2.
