The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political party or any candidate. The League does promote informed participation of all citizens in their government by providing factual information to help prepare citizens to cast an informed vote. The website www.vote411.org is a tool of the local League and state League of Women Voters to assist in informing voters by allowing a sample ballot to be custom-created for each voter who consults that website, for that voter’s personal use in preparing to vote, and learning about the candidates.

The website contains candidate questions posed by the LWV of Hays County, the Austin Area and other chapters of the LWV, and the State LWV as well. The questions and the answers by candidates will be available on www.vote411.org by the time that early voting starts on Oct. 22. Early voting will continue until Nov. 2.

The LWV of Hays County would also like to take this opportunity to remind the public: the deadline to register to vote or change an address of a voter is Oct. 9.

For information on how to register or change an address of residence, please see the Hays County Elections Office website www.co.hays.tx.us/november-6-2028-general-election or call their office at 512-393-7310.
