Following his swearing in Judge Gary Steel lent District Judge David Junkin his robe and seat to enjoy during the celebration at the Hays County Government Center.

Local attorney David Junkin was sworn in to his new seat on the bench as Judge of the 453rd Judicial District Court in Hays County.
Junkin was sworn in by Judge Gary Steel at the Hays County Government Center on December 19. His term expires December 2020. He was appointed to the newly created court by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
