Buck Winn’s birthday celebrated

Buck Winn’s Four Winn’s ranch was the site celebrating the life of Buck Winn, artist, inventor, sculptor and all around Renaissance man. He would’ve turned 114 if he was still alive. He died in 1979. His house and ranch are on the National Register of Historic Places.

In order to honor Winn, his daughter Kathryn or “Tinka” opened the house which is her residence, and grounds to the public with tours of 25, for both morning and afternoon tours. Although numbers were limited, there is a waiting list for tours in the late spring.
