6th positive COVID-19 case in Wimberley
There are now six cases of COVID-19 in the Wimberley Valley, all of which are currently active.
The April 18 report from Hays County confirmed four new cases of the virus, one of which was in the Wimberley area. Hays County has confirmed 125 total cases of COVID-19. Of those cases 54 have recovered. There are 70 active cases in the county. There has been one death from the virus in Hays County. A total of 14 people have been hospitalized with four still currently in the hospital.
Driftwood has two confirmed cases, but only one is active. The city of Woodcreek does not have any confirmed cases at this time.
Kyle has the most total cases in Hays County with 52 and the most active with 30.
